These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of 10,000 hours at 10000htheory.com (the "Service"), operated by the 10,000 hours team. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the Service. By using it, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

You keep ownership of the content you add — your profile details, character, and the practice links and information you log ("Your Content"). By adding it, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and share Your Content as needed to operate the Service, including showing it on your public profile and in rankings where you have chosen to make it public.
You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the right to share it. When you paste a link, you are sharing a reference to content hosted on another platform; make sure you have the right to do so.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
The Service lets you reference content on third-party platforms (such as YouTube, Vimeo, TikTok, and Twitch) and reads public metadata from them. We do not control those platforms and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Your use of them is subject to their own terms.
The Service itself — including its name, logo, design, and software — belongs to us and is protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our branding without our permission.
10,000 hoursis a tool for tracking and sharing practice, inspired by the popular "10,000-hour" idea. We do not promise that logging any number of hours will lead to mastery, expertise, or any particular outcome. Your progress depends on you.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Some provisions, by their nature, survive termination.
We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. When we change the Terms, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts of Vietnam, unless a mandatory law in your country provides otherwise.
